Definitely take these as suggestions rather than requirements. I've tried to be fairly broad with freeforms, so don't feel like you have to stick too closely to any specific one. Combine them, use one as a starting point and go off in another direction, have one appear only very briefly, etc. I am not very picky and I love surprises so would love to see what you come up with! Ashur's feelings about his transformation, whether he is fully horrified (as perhaps the fantasy pope might be when faced with his own corruption) or finds aspects of the change that maybe aren't all bad. Going full darkspawn and grappling with how much of him is really left, and how much is just the blight taking over a form that once was the man known as Ashur.

Something something Tevinter is obsessed with dragons and maybe Ashur gets that a bit more literally. Whether a shapechanger or unwillingly altered, deliberate joy and freedom found in the change to something new and different, or horror at becoming something not of his choosing. Ghilan'nain/Bellara Lutare
Bellara getting a little too fascinated in what's become of the elven gods, perhaps examining a bit too closely. Ghilan'nain getting her tentacles on Bellara -- possibly during the endgame kidnapping, Ghilan'nain getting the chance to do some experimentation. Possibly sexily. Maybe the two finding an odd common ground in their fascination with discovering how the natural world works. Or Bellara getting corrupted to Ghilan'nain's side.

Ghilan'nain/Merrill
Possibly similar to above with Bellara but pull in Merrill instead. How does Merrill respond to all the elven stuff revealed in DATV? It's been a few years since DA2, so how's she changed? Does she think tentacles are sexy?

Ghilan'nain/Johanna Hezenkoss
Mad science time! Tentacles, blight, giant skeletons, unethical spirit experimentation, etc. Are they friendly? Rivals? Think each other's work is sexy? Helping each other? Using each other? Here to have intensely weird tentacle/giant skeleton construct sex? Ghilan'nain suggesting ways to improve the skeleton (more tentacles, more blight...), Hezenkoss suggesting new experiments for Ghilan'nain to create. Hezenkoss claiming to side with Ghilan'nain when it's convenient then betraying her. Or the other way around. Hezenkoss fascinated by the implications of ancient spirits turned elves. They can both nerd out about the Fade! AU where Bellara has a fade expert contact...who turns out to be Hezenkoss. (Or perhaps is corresponding with both Hezenkoss and Emmrich, not realizing their history.) Party member Hezenkoss who is maybe a little evil but also sexy and she's helping, probably, and also Bellara can't seem to resist her. I also love the banter Bellara gets with Hezenkoss' skull where she can ask questions and Hezenkoss then gives genuine answers. Do things get deeper from there? Does Hezenkoss ever get a body back? Her Hand of Glory used for nefarious (sexy) purposes? Or Bellara who gets seduced to Hezenkoss' side. Half lich sex. They may or may not have a particularly long lasting relationship, but I think it would be fun while it lasts.

Honestly I just like both of them and think it would be fun to throw them together. Researching weird forbidden magic together. Long distance penpals. Getting a bit too close and personal with blood magic for anyone else's comfort. Failing lich Hezenkoss somehow coming in contact with Merrill and maybe they can find a solution to Hezenkoss' magic constraints? (And why would Merrill help?) IDK I'm not actually sure what they're doing together but if this speaks to you I believe in your ability to make it work.

Strife/Lich!Emmrich Volkarin
Strife dealing with Emmrich's lich transformation -- does Emmrich talk to him beforehand? Spring new skeleform on him unannounced? Get Strife to be the one to go with him to the lichification as emotional support? Coffin skeleton sex? Older men finding unexpected love (and fucking vigorously about it)... Emmrich who thinks his romancing days are long past completely blindsided by how into Strife he is. Emmrich's sudden eagerness to go wandering around the forest when a sexy guy is involved. We don't get a ton of Strife in the game, and I'd love any sort of peek into his thoughts and feelings on the relationship. Confronting the lich decision, staying together with lich Emmrich and making skeleton sex work (and perhaps the inevitable angst over their new lifespan disparity).

And then throw Dorian in there. Shadow Dragon downtime. How long have each of them known the others? Ways they rub up against each other in ideals and practicalities. The Archon choice. Younger years between Dorian and the Viper. I'm fine with this being a V (in any configuration) or a triangle.

For HC specifically: The blight is rich with h/c opportunities. During and after Ashur's kidnapping. Stab or otherwise attack any of them. Magic gone wrong. (too much energy spent? healing magic with bad side effects? magic cast upon them by enemies?) I do love blood and injury and gore so feel free to go wild with that if you like.

Feel free to go wild with these! I prefer fantasy/scifi/historical settings. I enjoy both human and non-human characters (elf/orc/etc fantasy species, fae, demons, vampires, aliens, androids/robots, whatever). I also enjoy older characters (whether similar in age or with age gaps).

I've provided a few brief thoughts for each but do not in any way feel obligated to stick with these if you have a different idea! I'm requesting OW to see what sorts of ideas you would come up with, not me, so feel free to disregard all of these prompts entirely. I am also very happy for any of these to be sappily romantic or awful feeling with bad endings or anything in between, as you prefer.

For Original Work specifically, do not want any characters in the requested ships under age 20.

Eldritch Abomination/ The Human Sacrifice They’re Very Fond of (Hurt Sacrifice)
I prefer m/m or f/f or any sort of nonbinary/genderless/alien gender etc. situation, but I know that isn't baked into the tag so go with your heart.

Human gets sacrificed, is hurt in the process and the eldritch abomination takes care of them? The eldritch abomination is the one who hurts them and regrets it, or doesn't, and cares for them either way. Eldritch abomination doesn't really know how humans work and this one is entertaining if easily breakable (but also fixable! though whether those are *good* fixes is another matter - human getting increasingly warped yet still alive?).

Fisherwoman/Mermaid (hurt Fisherwoman)
Fisherwoman/Mermaid (hurt Mermaid)

Mermaid washes up on shore injured, and fisherwoman takes care of her. Fisherwoman falls overboard and mermaid saves her. Mermaid somehow injures fisherwoman while she's out fishing and has to take care of her or bring her to safety where others can take care of her. (And then can't forget her?) Mermaid and fisherwoman who meet up periodically at the shore and then one day one fails to show.

I do really love more eldritch mermaids but am also fine with traditional human shaped ones.

Jaded Male Alien Soldier On Farming World/Cheerful Male Human Space Sheep Herder (hurt Soldier)

Alien soldier who is maybe stranded, maybe stationed on, maybe retired to a farming planet, dealing with years of military life. Perhaps that leaves him feeling like an unwanted cog in the machine, perhaps he has seen too much bloodshed and is sick of it, maybe he has seen the worst there is to see and says he accepts it but is so, so tired. Maybe he's been injured and is recovering on this backwater planet, or maybe he gets injured in the line of whatever duty he's accomplishing on the planet. Maybe he's hanging out with cheerful space sheep herder and is hurt protecting him from something. etc!

Overworked Male General/Charming Male Courtier Who Is Good In Bed (hurt General)
General who is so so tired. Maybe injured in the line of duty or in defense of charming courtier, maybe just exhausted, maybe recovering and dealing with some chronic war wound, maybe stricken with illness, etc. How does the overworked general meet charming courtier? Longstanding acquaintances, on and off fuckbuddies, longstanding pining finally realized in some very good sex. Comfort perhaps from the aforementioned good sex, or maybe a relationship that has so far been based entirely on sex turns to genuine emotional comfort?

shapeshifter learning to be human/retired general learning to live again (F/F) (both hurt)
This tag conjures such lovely images of these two both damaged in one way or another finding peace with each other. (Though feel free to go with another interpretation if you like!) Why is the shapeshifter learning to be human? Does she want to be human or is it a disguise or for protection? Is she sneaking into something? Is there anti-shapeshifter sentiment? What happened to the general? Jaded with war, saw too much death, tired of military structure, disillusioned with stated goals, recovering from injury. Are these two friends? Rivals? Enemies? Solo: Johanna Hezenkoss

Party member Hezenkoss who is maybe a little evil but also sexy and she's helping, probably, and also Bellara can't seem to resist her. I also love the banter Bellara gets with Hezenkoss' skull where she can ask questions and Hezenkoss then gives genuine answers. Do things get deeper from there? Does Hezenkoss ever get a body back? Second in command who always has a gun at Megatron's back and that IS a threat. Megatron literally turning into a gun. Being wielded by Starscream, a tool of destruction in the hands of someone he doesn’t even like or trust, except maybe he does, and maybe it’s complicated. Starscream trying to take over from Megatron. Fights turning sexy? Things going very badly (in a robogore sort of way) for one or the other of them. Whether this is Megatron torturing Starscream or Starscream attacking Megatron or a third party fighting them, all options I am down for.
